Following on from the success of the DSPP conference held in July 2022, partners felt it would be beneficial to have more opportunities to enable more discussion on and progress the priorities of DSPP (Exploitation across the life course, Neglect across the life course & Adopting a ‘Think Family’ approach)

The workshop will focus on the DSPP key priorities and will provide an opportunity for networking, sharing good practice and identifying clear ways forward in progressing the priority group’s work plans.

Aims and Objectives:

  • Identify and recognise achievements to date against the respective strategies
  • Highlight the areas that require development
  • Identify a clear way forward in terms of next steps for the groups, partners and their practitioners

The workshop will be help in two sessions, one focusing on exploitation across the life course with a golden thread of think family, this session is led by the two Chairs for Exploitation.  The second session will focus on Neglect across the life course and will also be led by the respective sub group chairs.
