An Introduction to Childhood Adversity and Trauma Informed Practice Aims:

  • To understand the potential impact of ACEs and trauma across the life course.
  • To understand how to recognise the signs of trauma in behaviour.
  • To understand what trauma-informed practice means.
  • To gain a basic understanding into how an organisation can begin a journey towards a trauma-informed organisational culture.

Overview:

A 3hr webinar, this course offers something both for those who are new to ACEs as a concept and those with some existing prior knowledge. It is aimed at both those who work with children and young people AND those who work regularly with adults.

This is a level 1 (Awareness) course.
