Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews have highlighted the importance of recognising potential Non Accidental Injury (NAI) and taking appropriate and timely action.

The NAI Forum will bring together practitioners from partner agencies to raise awareness.  To ensure that there is a mutual understanding of the requirements of each agency when making decisions regarding potential NAI. 

The NAI Forum is open to any practitioner who comes into contact with vulnerable children.  At the forum a presentation on bruising will be delivered by Dr Subramanian Mahadevan-Bava, Designated Doctor, Black Country ICB.  There will also be time to questions and learning from case discussion.
